Every town has its’ own character and feel. East Gwillimbury is no exception. The East Gwillimbury Farmers’ Market at Green Lane reflects the rural-urban flair of EG. There is a sophisticated, wholesome feel to our farmer’s market, set as it is amid the modern, upscale building structures of the Yonge Green Lane Commons (NE corner of Yonge Street and Green Lane). The late Thursday afternoon-evening time slot (3 – 8 pm) attracts commuters on their way home, families on their way to baseball/soccer practice or picking up their children from summer camp, retirees who wish to combine shopping with banking or young people on their way to meet others for fajitas on restaurant patios.
